I have worked on both mobile and web applications with a variety of languages and frameworks, including:
Just over 5 years ago, I pivoted my career from a deeply invested arts and conservation background to software development and engineering. My interest was initially spurred when my former museum demanded a greater web and social media presence. I started taking classes in web development and managed to land a role on Upserve's mobile team. I went from looking for physical bugs and evidence of damage in a dark art storage room to hunting for functional bugs and problematic code.
I continue to be passionate about the arts and enjoy volunteering at my local museum, Lyman Allyn, for exhibit installation. I enjoy volunteering and have also given my time to Riverside Park in New London, Stand Up For Animals in Westerly, and previously for Southlight Gallery in Jacksonville. Apart from work and volunteer causes, I enjoy spending my time rennovating my mid-century home, gardening, working on crafts of all types, and spending time with my two cats and two dogs.
